Product Summary
We are a fully responsive web based app, with progressive web app available - i.e. you can download an icon to your desktop and launch the platform this way rather than by visiting a website. Our product is an automated end of tenancy platform which kicks in at the point of notice being given or received and guiding users, landlords and tenants through to the deposit return.
Problems we solve for agents
We remove around 80% of admin related to the end of a tenancy, most of which has zero monetary value to agents and is just chasing people. Our platform streamlines processes and ensures compliance. Our clients have a dashboard of all concluding tenancies, giving easy at a glance updates and we deliver transparency to tenants in what is often a fraught and stressful time. All users, tenants and landlords can perform actions from any device, anywhere in the world. Built by agents, for agents.
We are integrated with both TDS Insured and Custodial schemes.
We have a partner integration with Please Connect Me, a Utility Switching Service as it offers a no cost bill closing service on concluding tenancies.
Our integrations with Inventory Base, Inventory Hive and No Letting Go also knock another chunk of admin time off each tenancy being processed on the platform by automatically pulling through checkout reports, meter readings and photos along with pre-populating the deductions stage with issues marked as tenant liability.
The Depositary pricing is based on managed portfolio size only and has no set up fees. We can get agents up and running by video call with the set up and training usually taking no longer than one hour. Subscription starts at £75 plus VAT per month.
ROI
We aim to save an agent around 3 admin hours per tenancy, which applying ‘living wage’ costs around £27 with an estimated cost of around £3, a substantial ROI before applying the perceived value tenants and landlords will see in your business by adopting such a system.
Setup / Onboarding
One hour! To date, we have been able to manage the onboarding process via video calls. We usually carry out a demo with key staff members, which takes between 30 minutes to an hour depending on how in depth people would like to go during that first call. We can then book in a set up call, usually within a week, where we configure the account to match your internal processes and carry out the training. Clients add their own branches and users and can tweak the configuration at any time. We have around 70 email templates the system sends out and we recommend people start by reviewing a key number of these then work their way through the rest.
Training & Support
Our training is carried out by video call, where we share screens and do an end to end run through of the platform. These can be recorded and sent after the session so staff can refer back if needed. There is no cost for the initial training when a new client signs up with us. For larger operations we can offer on-site training or multiple sessions but these will be charged based on the size of the team, location of the office(s) and the time required - these will be quoted on an individual basis.
Our support is included in the monthly subscription cost. Most support is carried out by email but we're always happy to call clients if they'd rather have a telephone conversation and occasionally we'll recommend setting up a 10 minute video call so we can share screens.
