Really Pleased With It
We had our first training on PayProp today. Thought I would share my early impressions. To be honest it's taken me a long time to understand what PayProp is and what it's needed for as opposed to a CRM. I used to think it must be some sort of lettings based CRM but no. PayProp is going to run alongside our CRM and will not really overlap very much at all. PayProp is to run your client account in an automated way so you don't need to be checking bank statements and working out which tenant owes what. One of the KEY points of difference is that PayProp pays money to the Landlords directly, no more exporting a CSV file to Bankline or some other bank. The training went well and the new interface is clear and easy to follow. There are a couple of field labels that need adjusting, but that is a small job that I am sure will be done quickly. The way you add tenants and landlords and properties is all pretty standard and the way you build a tenancy reminds me of setting up recurring invoices in Xero. I do think once the team has used PayProp for a couple of weeks they will be really pleased with it. The onboarding process has been easy enough. We just had to export a couple of spreadsheets from our old system, check them over and clean up some of the columns and then upload to PayProp to knock into shape ready to import properly into PayProp. I like the way PayProp lets you split payments so if you get one payment from the local council you can split it up to cover the various tenancies and I also like how easy it is to email and send letters to tenants informing them of the new client account and payment ref details. There is also a simple way to book free training on the platform which I think is really handy and we have been told training videos are due to be added soon so we can dip in and out of those as we want to. The trainer is really nice and going to help us with our first 'live' work on the system tomorrow. Very happy so far and have not hit any of those heart sink moments where you realize the salesperson may have exaggerated the software's true abilities!

Since we took on Payprop our client accounting has never been in better shape, the instant reconciliation of payments as they come in means there is little room for error, you always know where all funds are to the penny. The amount of time freed up by the system has meant more time to focus on other areas of our business knowing the accounts are in safe hands. Since taking on Payprop we have never looked back. Highly recommended!

At Lawrence Rooney Estate Agents we have been using Payprop for many years. The service of all the team at Payprop is outstanding and this product is like having another member of my team. The service that Payprop provides saves our business so much time as once it is set up it is a touch of a button each day to send all payments to landlords and contractors and ourselves. Our landlords and tenants particularly like the timely information letting them know when rent is paid and received and monthly statements. If you are not using Payprop we would highly recommend this product to any letting agent.

We were introduced to Payprop in 2017, I remember at the time we were looking at recruiting another member of staff to cope with letting payments and invoicing etc. We spoke with some of the team at Payprop and loved the concept and it felt like it if it was as good as it seemed then it would negate the need for another member of staff so we decided to give it a trial.
Well we have never looked back and are so VERY GRATEFUL for that original introduction and meeting. All I will say is that if you do one thing today make sure it is to pick up the phone and speak to the team at Payprop, they will improve your business forever.
Payprop has made my life easier
I was introduced to Payprop approximately 4 years ago and I have never looked back. Once all the information was installed - which the team at Payprop did for me, it was plain sailing. Its easy to add and change properties, and tenants and deduct invoices. The best thing though is that the landlord and tenants get statements each month and I don't have to even think about it.
I downloaded the app as well which makes life even easier.
If I have any problems the team on the end of the phone are very helpful and patient and always resolve any problems I may have.

If you only change one thing you currently do on a daily basis within your lettings business it has to be a call to PAYPROP. This will change your attitude to rental payments to be a joy not a chore and it will allow you more time to prospect for new Landlords and increase your business. First class staff in all aspects of their business - I cant recommend enough how valuable this is to my business
